BE YOU… UNAPOLOGETICALLY

Do not allow other people to put their limitations on you just because they are unable to do what you have been CALLED to do.

After completing my bachelor’s degree I was shot twice. The next month I suffered one of biggest losses of my family’s history and never thought I would go back to school or walk in who God had chosen and called me to be. But I had a calling. Fighting through depression and fear, I went back, completed my 1st masters, got married, started my doctorate degree, had 2 whole babies while matriculating through the program and I finished. Despite many people telling me to slow down, to quit, you’re doing too much, to take a break and stop and go back later. As hard as it was, I kept going and I finished.

Why? Because I knew that other people depended on me to walk in who I was in order to be free themselves. While I initially struggled with it a first, I no longer allowed other people to speak what they COULD NOT do into me and project their limitations, insecurities and fears on me. It was hard enough to get rid of my own fears, limitations, etc…I was no longer taking ownership of what didn’t belong to me. And I had to stop (finally) apologizing for my anointing, strength and resilience that came from my fight, no matter who didn’t acknowledge it.

And…No longer should you apologize for where you are. And what God has called you to do. It cost you too much and too many people depend on it.

So Move forward without limitations…..Don’t apologize for the greatness that you carry. It belongs to you. You paid for it.
